The Business Office Liaison is responsible for obtaining required admit paperwork and ensuring timely and accurate entry of patient demographic data and charges to provide daily support to a hospital with a patient population ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing medically complex conditions, general medical-surgical
conditions, with rehabilitation and/or wound care needs
Minimum Qualifications:
Customer Service Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Ability to project a Professional Image.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (Word processing, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)
Education and/or Experience
Experience in a health care setting preferred.
One (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
