Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks - Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental receptionist procedures is a plus - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite - Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.
g.
, Epic, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
