Operations Leader

Advantage Resourcing is hiring for an Operations Leader in West Monroe, LAYou will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance to ensure daily checks, product quality, and environmental controls are in place to support food safety and GMPs are adhered toThis is an exciting direct-hire opportunity for a candidate with exceptional time management, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills Salary:
$55,000-$75,000 Night Shift Hours
Essential Functions:
oWill oversee the 3rd party night sanitation team to ensure that the production and warehouse storage areas are properly maintained, recyclables are properly segregated, and trash is appropriately discarded oWill work with the HSSE & HR Managers to perform and record employee safety training, conduct employee performance reviews, and compose and enforce employee disciplinary write-ups. oEnsure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), safety, health, environmental and other regulations. oWork with Quality Assurance to investigate customer quality issues, develop and implement corrective actions. oEnforce GMP and SQF procedures daily and consistently to ensure the environment is following certifications. oDevelop, track, and strengthen business performance through the effective use of Key Performance Metrics and Visual management boards. oDelegate duties to staffSupervise staff activities and provide instruction as needed oDevelop a schedule for maintenance staff based on production needs. Requirements:
This position requires the candidate to have 3
years of manufacturing experience and 3
years in the supervisor capacity of a team of 30-50 employees and supervisorsMust be comfortable with managing metrics, as well as being managed by metrics, have a high degree of computer literacy, be familiar and have knowledge of ERP systems, demonstrated experience increasing productivity, and be able to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods while lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.
