JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Supervise, coordinate, and assist in Meter Service activities across all service territories throughout Louisiana.
JOB DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance to company safety rules.
Perform field observations and actively coach installers to perform safety excellence while properly documenting ILS and CC/GC information.
Respond to and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Support the daily operations of job assignments, performance, and monitoring to ensure excellent quality of service is provided to our customers.
Research, contact, follow-up, and close monitoring of customer complaints and claims.
Interface with customers politely, courteously, and respectively when requested work cannot be completed or special requirements are needed to meet their expectations.
Provide leadership and training to Meter Service Installers.
Work to ensure that LA Distribution Operation goals and objectives are met or exceeded.
Work with others and maintain a positive attitude in extreme working conditions.
Must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and accuracy to direct installers to safely and efficiently.
Assist in network operations on storm restorations, questions about meters, and meter service work, backlog concerns, and customer issues.
Motivate and influence a diverse and geographically dispersed work force dealing with a wide variety of safety and training issues.
Assume Meter Service Supervisor's duties for a short time in their absence.
This position interfaces with and compliments other work groups; specifically Work Management, Contract Compliance, Customer Relations, MCAS, Claims, Revenue Assurance, AMOC, Credit & Collections, Line Department, Field Metering among others.
This position requires a high degree of knowledge in System Operations, PC skills, system programs like CCS, problem solving, and tactful communication skills with both company personnel, contractors, and the customer with fast and accurate judgment calls.
Respond to radio, phone, email, and system messages and inform employees when necessary.
Be available for calls from Meter Service personnel for assistance with account information, directions and/or locations.
Schedule, trouble shoot and resolve vehicle, computer, and tool issues.
This includes Click mobile on Getac and cell phone, timesheets, emails, Epoch field, and any other issues that affect the day-to-day operations of an installer.
Manage, monitor, and follow-up on all after hour call outs and pre-arranged overtime to Meter Services personnel.
Assist with computer training of new employees when needed.
Respond to all call outs related to meter service work and storm roles.
Travel, schedule meetings, and follow up as needed to consistently interact with all installers across the state.
Be able to manage all work order types in Click Mobile, Maximo, and Click Scheduler.
Organize work and manage multiple tasks and inputs simultaneously.
Organize work and manage multiple tasks daily.
Monitor and manage daily schedule including vacation/sick day request and changes.
Assist with adjusting workload and resources throughout the day.
Assist and plan the next day's assignments.
And monitor workload to determine necessity of overtime.
Assist employees with service orders, manage commits, and routing of tickets for safe and effective work.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum experience required of the position:
Minimum of 8 years of line experience or equivalent.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:
